This is just to say...

The late frost took out most of our plums this year, but one tree has a few on it... and they are delicious. Plums always make me think of this poem by William Carlos Williams.

This Is Just To Say

I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox

and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast

Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold
